Maginniss + del Ninno Architects has been working closely with the Alexandria City Public Schools to develop a sustainable design solution through the use of modular building technology. Three ACPS elementary schools are receiving environmentally responsible and efficient one story modular classroom additions in the summer of 2011 built to LEED-certified standards.

When Circe of Alexandria changed ownership, they chose Maginniss + del Ninno to develop their flagship day spa. Expanding spa operations into a second floor and redesigning salon areas on the first floor, the new design will redefine relaxation and beauty.
Washington St. United Methodist Church - Development Concepts : August 15, 2011
MAGINNISS + DEL NINNO is working closely with the Church’s building committee and its real estate consultant to develop planning options and assess their three properties in the Old and Historic District of Old Town Alexandria.
Gaithersburg Senior Center : August 15, 2011
After completing the new Gaithersburg Olde Towne Youth Center, Maginniss + del Ninno are now working with Gaithersburg’s Seniors as they help to redesign their Senior Center kitchen and serving facility and make improvements to their Center.
Spokes Fairfax : August 04, 2010
The Spokes family is growing from four to five retail stores to provide more convenient access to Fairfax County cyclists. The newest store, located at the intersection of Rt. 29 and Rt. 50, will continue Spokes’s tradition of offering personalized service and products tailored to each cyclist’s needs. Maginniss + del Ninno completely redesigned the exterior and interior of the dated 1960’s freestanding retail building to showcase the Spokes brand. Look for the full glass storefront below a perforated rainscreen veil with “Watermelon Red” under layer.
